DESIGNER OUTLET SOLTAU – Opening in late summer 2012

The Mutschler Group has been involved as an investor in the Lüneburger Heide area for over ten years, working closely with the city of Soltau right from the start to make the Designer Outlet a reality. Soltau’s mayor Wilhelm Ruhkopf sums up the cooperation saying, “It is a huge advantage for the Soltau location that the city and the investors have been able to rely on one another since the very beginning of the project. I’m very happy that the Designer Outlet will be opening here in Soltau”.

Executive Director Sylvie Mutschler pledges, “We are working hard on our project to ensure that we can welcome the Designer Outlet’s first guests in late summer 2012 according to plan. And we are also in the leasing process with many leading retailers for the emerging shop spaces so that we can give customers a broad range of leading brands to choose from.”

The close cooperation with other tourist attractions in the region also bodes well for the success of the Designer Outlet Soltau. One example of this cooperation is Hannes Mairinger, Executive Director of the Heide Park Resort, who has been promoting the project for years. Mairinger comments, “The Designer Outlet and the Heide Park Resort strategy go hand in hand. Synergies are being created here which we can market together for the benefit of this entire tourism region”.
